Drawing on the multi-sectoral expertise of its diverse partners, SPRING is providing technical leadership in bringing agriculture and nutrition experts together to improve health outcomes in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Through the U.S. Government’s Feed the Future initiative and USAID’s Bureau of Food Security, SPRING is hosting a series of regional workshops designed to facilitate linkages between agriculture programs and nutrition, especially in the first 1,000 days of life. These Agriculture and Nutrition Global Learning and Evidence Exchange (AgN-GLEE) events focus on strengthening and aligning current and new Feed the Future investments to achieve nutrition outcomes. By engaging cross-sectoral teams of both USAID mission and partner stakeholders, the AgN-GLEE events offer opportunities for exchanging perspectives and knowledge, sharing of promising practices, and practical application of evidence in developing country-specific plans for improving nutritional outcomes under Feed the Future.
