SPRING’s work in Haiti provided technical leadership in the development and integration of a full range of nutrition interventions for HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and support services. SPRING/Haiti’s approach was grounded in the nutrition assessment, counseling, and support (NACS) framework, and included strengthening the capacity of facility-based providers to deliver NACS services using on-the-job training and quality improvement methods. SPRING/Haiti operated in 17 health facilities across all ten departments.

SPRING’s main partners in Haiti included the Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population (MSPP), CEPAM, HEALTHQUAL, the Nutrition Security Program, UNICEF, and the World Food Program. SPRING's work in Haiti ran from September 2012 to September 2015.
