USAID’s Bureau for Global Health partnered with SPRING and MCSP to co-chair the Multi-Sectoral Anemia Task Force. The Task Force aims to facilitate evidence-based collaboration among USAID Washington, USAID missions, and USAID partner agencies to strengthen multisectoral anemia policy and programming.
SPRING and MCSP co-chaired the first meeting on November 28, 2016. The meeting featured presentations on five topics: the Task Force’s history and renewed efforts, the Accelerated Reduction Efforts on Anaemia Community of Practice (AREA CoP), an overview of anemia, and two new anemia tools.
