USAID’s Bureau for Global Health partnered with SPRING and MCSP to co-chair the Multi-Sectoral Anemia Task Force. The Task Force aims to facilitate evidence-based collaboration among USAID Washington, USAID missions, and USAID partner agencies to strengthen multisectoral anemia policy and programming.
SPRING and MCSP co-chaired the second meeting on March 1, 2017. The meeting featured presentations that focused on the importance of nutrition-specific and -sensitive interventions in preventing anemia and how the causes of anemia in a specific context should drive the type of interventions prioritized.
