This video discusses the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. The second phase of the first 1,000 days starts after the birth of the baby through 6 months (181 days). Breastmilk is a complete food that provides adequate food and water to the baby up to six months. Therefore, nothing else should be given to the baby during that time, not even water during hot weather. This video speaks about feeding the baby day and night on demand, which helps the mother to produce more milk and meet the baby's requirements.
