Water, sanitation, and hygiene

Working with the Mopti Regional Government, SPRING/Mali Helps 20 of 26 Villages Celebrate “Open Defecation Free” Status

In 2015, SPRING/Mali set an objective to integrate water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) into agriculture and nutrition-focused activities, through the Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach in 100 villages in the Mopti region.

Speaking Up for Better Nutrition

SPRING has been supporting Durgapur’s FNS since 2012 to improve nutrition and hygiene for pregnant and lactating women and women with children under two through improved access to a more nutritious and more diverse diet. Durgapur’s FNS graduates have motivated the community, bringing nutrition, handwashing, and hygiene to the attention of everyone around them.
